Watched a very interesting advertisement! I find it the best of all beer's advertisement. It had alot of nice ideas composited together even though is a short advertisement. It attracts my attention when everything just blend so well. I realise they use alot of effects to make the advertisement a very successful one. It definitely promotes the beer and its brand at the end. It gives a very adventurous feeling and making the audience wanting to buy their beer.Every step is really tedious, I hope produce this kind of standard in the future.

Film editing lesson had come to an end...This will just be a summary of what I had learned throughout this semester =)
- Trimming/cutting
- Marking in and out
- Adding & Mixing Audios
- Adding Transitions
- Adding text
- Adding filters and bin
- Shortcut keys of FCP
I will make use of the skills in my future film or projects! Thanks Miss Eda for your useful notes and the FCP practical that we had did.
For our cinematography assignment 2, we also did a trailer on candy island, with the help of final cut pro. So do take a look and enjoy =p

Film editing is going to end soon.. had learnt lots of skills in editing and making a good video.Comments are given for assignment 2 about the ending. We then changed it and try to make the brand and logo appear more. To promote it to the viewers.
In cinematography, we also use final cut pro to produce our short film....
This is our cinematography assignment one, edited using after effects and final cut pro.
I think that there is still room of improvement for myself, I will continue to learn and produce a good film in the future.

Film editing assignment 2 had finally come to an end. In this advertisement, May Tze is the main lead, followed by Ting Ru and Suzanne and Meng Jiao. Being the cameraman, I met many difficulties. I had to consider many points like zooming, angle and controlling the camera.As for the editing, we must ensure what we want our viewers to see. A great audio is then equally important to attract audience attention.
I learnt lots of things in this assignment. I am also looking forward to learn more and make my editing better or even perfect.
Now I had a better understanding towards final cut pro, compositing and cinematography. =) Hope you will enjoy our video.

Today we had our own time to discuss our film editing assignment 2. I am grouping with May Tze and Meng Jiao. We are still discussing on the contents of the advertisement as changes needs to be make.Hope that our advertisement can be a success=) My assignment 1 grade, I believe that it is not good. I will try my best in this assignment and push up my grades .
Tomorrow we will discussing our ideas and the type of effects that we are putting in it. Details and pictures will be uploaded by then... Stay Tuned =p

Shot 3: smoky and sparkling effect are being added after several tries.
Shot 5: Colour correction is done and the enlarging of Pamela.
Shot 10: Colour correction, changing of brightness and contrast of the picture.
I realised that choosing audio for video is very important. Planning and teamwork is needed to make the video a complete one. Lastly, I also think that I had to improve my final cut pro skills to make better videos in future.

Today is a practical lesson, we had to follow the instructions given in the pdf and work on it. I am always confused and don't what to do. But after several times of trying, I will find out the right one to press. I also learnt what is patching and how to lower down the volume by clicking the stereo tab and lower the db value.I find that there is a lot of steps to only edit a video which is tedious, making sure that I read every single sentence so that I don't make mistakes in my work.
Photos are taken for our assignment and we will continue by editing them in photoshop by this week. Screenshots and work progress will be posted up soon, aiming it to be a good video. =)
